Jody Rudman

Jody Rudman is a 24 year veteran of federal and state courtrooms across the country, including three trips to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and one to the United States Supreme Court. She has had a broad array of litigation experiences on both sides of the docket. Her work ranges from sophisticated corporate litigation matters, to issues of first impression in the insurance industry, to federal class action and qui tam litigation, to federal white collar criminal defense.

Jody has tried hundreds of cases as a private practice law firm attorney, a federal and state prosecutor, and a federal white collar defense lawyer. Recent expertise lies particularly in federal class action; health care fraud, enforcement, and abuse; computer hacking; public corruption; conspiracies; and other federal offenses. Her zealous representation of clients has led to sentences of probation, the dismissal of charges, and an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Jody has successfully represented civil clients and written extensively on benefits and ERISA matters, insurance matters, and matters of constitutional law. Described by one former federal judge as “a great strategist” and “hands down the best legal writer I have ever seen,” her oral advocacy in the courtroom is matched by her written word and tireless dedication to achieving the best results, whether on paper or in front of judge and jury.
